WAVE making hip hop singer, David Adeleke who is better
known as Davido is presently one of the artistes regularly contacted to perform
at virtually every function, especially at high profile ones.
It was therefore not a surprise when the Ede, Osun state born young man was contacted to spice up an event for the wives of Lagos commissioners where the first lady of Lagos state, Dame Abimbola Fashola was also present with the deputy governor of the state at Eko Hotels and Suites recently.
As one whose songs are like national anthem at the moment, the small- sized hip hop singer did not sweat so much before he could get personalities at the gathering on their feet and wriggle their waist to his delivery.
All the while however, he did not have a clue that a huge embarrassment awaited him until he reached the table of the first lady and demanded she stood up to dance.
Davido simply withdrew into his shell when she asked him to pull up his trouser which was below his waist all in the name of sagging!. The budding singer quickly took to correction and continued with his performance as Dame also granted his request.
