An accused Pennsylvania perv won't
serve jail time for buying his 13-year-old daughter a vibrator, a court ruled.
"Sex toys are not
illegal," the man's defense attorney, Mark Zearfaus, told the Altoona
Mirror after Tuesday's ruling.
"It may not be advisable to buy
one for a teenager, but it's not a crime."
The suspected sicko was not named in
press reports to protect his daughter's identity.
He was also cleared of charges of
giving sex material to a minor, endangering the welfare of a child, corruption
of a minor and indecent assault, the paper reported.
Prosecutors argued that the
Hollidaysburg man watched porn with his daughter, let her smoke pot, gave her
the sex toy and tried to force her to give him oral sex during weekend visits
with him in 2009.
Their argument was based on the
daughter's accusations, the paper reported.
The dad denied the charges on the
stand on Monday, saying the girl, now 16, had demanded a vibrator and he
eventually gave in after seeing an Oprah episode featuring a doctor advising
parents to consider buying the devices for their children.
