THE Nigeria Police has budgeted the sum of N2,798,030,985 for logistics, intelligence gathering and purchase of anti-terror equipment, to combat terror attacks in the country in 2013.
This was contained in the budget capital expenditure details presented to the House of Representatives Committee on Police by the Ministry of Police Affairs.
The minister, Navy Captain Caleb Olubode (retd), presented the document to the committee, said the budget estimates for the ministry in 2013 was N341,674,034,731.
