Security: NYSC members deployed to Bayelsa, Borno, Yobe to resume Nov 8
THE National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) has shifted the date of orientation exercise of corps members deployed to Bayelsa, Borno and Yobe states to Wednesday, November 28, to be concluded on December 19, instead of the previous official date, November 6.
The shift was due to security challenges, the recent flooding experienced in the states and the subsequent accommodation of displaced victims at the NYSC permanent orientation camp in Kaiama.
The orientation will, therefore, hold at the NYSC camps at Kaiama Grammar School, Kolokoma-Opokuma Local Government Area of Bayelsa State; Wanune in Tarka Local Government Area of Benue State and Magaji Dan Yamusa in Keffi, Nasarawa State, respectively.
