Students threaten mass action

The National Association of Nigerian Students (NANS) has threatened to stage a mass protest if  the various reports to unravel the rot in the oil sector were not implemented and oil thieves brought to book.
Addressing newsmen in Jos, the National President of NANS, Comrade Dauda Mohammed, said the politicisation of the subsidy probe particularly that of the Aig-Imoukhuede-led panel was sending a wrong signal to other Nigerian investors.
Comrade Mohammed said the entire students in the country, like other Nigerians, were shocked by the findings of the various committees on the management of the petroluem sector and called on President Goodluck Jonathan to take a critical look into the recommendations and ensure implementation.
