account disclosed that the accident occurred when a Toyota Hiace
18-seater bus with registration number XF 548 RBC, at high speed drove
dangerously, lost control and veered off the road killing two persons on
the spot.
The Kogi State Sector Commander of the Federal Road
Safety Corps (FRSC), Muhammed Garba, confirmed the incident and
attributed it to overspeeding, adding that the vehicle was also
overloaded.

change of attitude while on the road, saying that most of the accidents
on the Lokoja-Abuja road were as a result of human error.
