TWO people were on Friday morning killed in a gas explosion that
occurred at Nigeria Distilleries Limited, around Singer area of Sango
Ota, Ogun State.
Several other workers were injured in the incident that created panic among residents of communities around Singer and Ijako.
Saturday Tribune gathered that the explosion occurred as a result of
overheating from one of the boiler machines being used by the company.
Two people had, as of Friday afternoon, been confirmed dead, while
many workers were injured as workers at the factory scampered for
safety.
