Boko Haram kingpin arrested in ex-Rep’s home •Most vehicles used on bombings were stolen —Security sources

A Boko Haram kingpin, who is said to be specialised in receiving stolen vehicles, has been arrested in Abuja, security agents said on Saturday.
He was said to have been arrested in the Abuja residence of a former member of the House of Representatives (names withheld) who left the National Assembly in 2007.
Information pieced together by Sunday Tribune indicated that the Boko Haram member, whose name was given as Hassan Pagi Bukar, was said to have specialised in receiving stolen vehicles from top Boko Haram members.
He (Bukar) was said to have been arrested alongside the gateman of the former honourable member. The  gateman, who the ex-Rep claimed was employed from Sokoto to guard his house was said to have agreed to his role in the Boko Haram sect during interrogation.
“On interrogation, Bukar is said to have admitted to his role in the sect but added that his ex-Rep host also buys some of the vehicles from him,” the source said.
The Rep was also said to have been interrogated and has been asked to report on scheduled periods to security agents.
Security agents were also said to have established that almost all vehicles used for suicide bombings by the sect were stolen.
