THE seventh in the series of the annual thanksgiving service
organised by the Asiwaju Onigbagbo Okunrin of Remo land, Chief Justus
Olugbenga Daniel, will take place this Sunday, January 13, at
Abrahams Tabernacle, Oba Erinwole, GRA, Sagamu.
The theme of this year’s edition billed to commence at 1 p.m. is,
‘Thanksgiving to the Lord’, and the special guest is His Eminence, Dr S.
Ola Makinde, The Prelate, Methodist Church of Nigeria.
Part of the highlights is the attendance of all church leaders from
all denominations, who will gather together under the auspices of the
Christian Association of Nigeria, (CAN), to offer praises and
thanksgiving to God and also pray for Ogun State and Nigeria.
There will also be soul lifting praise worship and special renditions by invited choirs.
For the past seven years, Chief Daniel has hosted the annual event in
his capacity as the Asiwaju Onigbagbo Okunrin of Remo land with the aim
to create a forum for all Christian denominations in Remo land and the
entire Christian fold in Ogun State to worship God and offer prayers for
the state and Nigeria.
