Oguntade and Adewole
A 20-year-old member of the Oodua People’s Congress (OPC), has been hacked to death by suspected female Eiye Confraternity members and others at the Mowe area of Ogun State.

The deceased, Kamoru Jimoh, was hacked to death by some cult members. Among the cultists were three girls. Jimoh went to a birthday party, which his girlfriend, Kafayat invited him, when he was murdered.
Jimoh was killed on May 8, 2016, around 11pm and his corpse dragged into a nearby bush and abandoned.
The deceased’s bloated body was discovered two days later by a passerby, who immediately raised the alarm. Kafayat was said to have invited Jimoh and his two other friends, Kareem Oguntade 18 and Tunde Adewole 20 to the birthday party. When the three got to the party on the fateful day, Kafayat was nowhere to be found.
Recounting the story of how Jimoh was killed, his friend, Ogunatade said: “On that fateful day, I was just leaving the OPC local government meeting in Mowe, when Jimoh called me on phone. He said I should accompany him to a birthday party at Ibafo. I went to Jimoh’s house to meet him. We all went to the hotel in Ibafo where the party was held. When we got to the hotel, Jimoh called his girlfriend’s phone, but it was switched off. This made Jimoh uncomfortable.”
