Operatives of the National Agency for the Prohibition of Trafficking in Persons (NAPTIP), Ministry of foreign Affairs, the Nigeria High Commission in New Delhi, India, the New Delhi Police as well as activists from the New Delhi based – Anti-Human Trafficking Organisation known as Vihaan-(WMS), in a joint operation have a notorious Foreign –based human trafficker, Joy Shandy Okah, a suspected human trafficker operating in India.

Missing mother of two found mutilated, buried in Lagos

 


The search for the missing mother of two, Mercy Henry, has come to an end.

The 35 years old woman was found, mutilated and buried in different sacks behind a building belonging to the prime suspect, Mr. Mayowa Timothy Bamidele.
It will be recalled that Bamidele had repeatedly, vehemently denied seeing Mercy. In fact, he maintained that he last saw her four years ago.

The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC, in continuation of the review of its operational activities for 2021 has disclosed that it recovered the aggregate sum of N152, 088,698,751.64,  $386,220,202.84,   £1, 182,519.75,  €156,246.76,  1,723,310.00 Saudi Riyal, 1,900.00 South African Rand, and 1, 400.00 Canadian Dollar between January and December 2021.
