Inscription of Allah on a piece of meat astounds UI community

UNIVERSITY of Ibadan community witnessed a miracle, Tuesday evening when an Arabic inscription of Allah (meaning God) was conspicuously seen on a piece of boiled beef.
The incident, which was observed in Queen Elizabeth II Hall of the institution, has turned the community to a Mecca of sort as people have started trooping in to have a look at the miracle meat.
According to a 200 level Biochemistry student of the institution, Miss Khayrah Ola-Kareem, the raw beef was brought to her by her mother on Tuesday and as the meat simmered while being cooked, she observed the sign on a piece of the meat.
Recounting her experience, Khayrah, a Muslim said, “As the meat started to simmer, an inscription of Allah’s name in Arabic language (i.e.‫ اللَّهُ‬) began to appear on a piece. The more the meat boiled, the clearer the inscription became”.
She explained that she decided to fry the particular slice of meat with the hope that the name would disappear, however, it became more engraved on the meat after frying.
Shocked, though aware the sign was the name of Allah, the student called her floor mates who were Christians, brought out her Quran to show them the word Allah in Arabic as a way of convincing them.
At a press conference at the institution’s central mosque yesterday, the President, Muslim Students’ Society of Nigeria, MSSN, University of Ibadan, Mr. Alli Abdul Salam, said the incident was one of the signs of Allah’s existence.
He noted that the experience of the miracle meat was not the first of its kind and there had been series of such “which are signs for man to reflect on the power of Allah as well as authenticity of Islam”.
