Lagos govt seals off 1004 flats
THE Lagos State government, on Monday, sealed off 1004 flats, Victoria Island, over unpaid land use charges by the management of the blocks of flats.
Residents and visitors to the estate were unable to drive into the complex during the time the blockade lasted.
Meanwhile, when this report was filed at about 5.20 p.m, the two gates leading to the estate had been re-opened, although the agreement reached with the management could not be immediately ascertained.
