Rotarian Obadan explained that the Rotary International with members drawn from various professions is committed to the promotion of ethical standard and values that promote humanity and above all, peace through selfless service. "As District Governor, it is my duty to visit all the Clubs in my district and Kano being the cradle of the club in Nigeria, I must visit and interact with organizations like the EFCC and seek her helping hand in the pursuit of the objectives of the Rotary Club embodied in the Four-Way-Test of the Club and our involvement in humanitarian activity that promote values and help people in need”, he said

“The EFCC is a child of circumstance. It came at a time Nigeria was drifting to the abyss of a pariah nation. It almost became a haven of fraudster and money launderers …. So far, we have recorded breakthroughs in the area of prosecution and convictions. No doubt collaborative efforts with an organization like the Rotary Club can actually give the fight the desired boost particularly in the area of sensitization and public enlightenment,’ he said.
