Detectives at the Festac Police Station have arrested one Mr. Kelechi for allegedly sexually molesting his two and three years old daughters and also doing same to his 13 year old house maid at the Festac area of Lagos State.
The incentous act was found out after the maid reported at her school, that her ‘Uncle Kelechi,’ was fond of inserting his fingers into her private parts.
It was also alleged that the suspect had done similar acts on his two and three years old daughters. The wife, who happens to be the breadwinner in the marriage, is always on the road, travelling abroad for business.
While Kelechi, who is unemployed, was always at home with his victims.
According to reports, the school, acting on the maid’s allegation, escalated the matter, bringing in members of the Advocates for Children and Vulnerable Persons Network (ACVPN). The network, thereafter, involved the Festac Police.
Aside from violating the three children, the suspect was also alleged of having a history of using his wife as punching bag.
The maid had reported: “Whenever I’m bathing or sleeping, Uncle would come and insert his finger into my private part. He would threaten to kill me if I tell my aunt. Sometimes my aunt would be somewhere in the house and he would be doing this to me.”
Last Thursday, Kelechi decided to take his predatory attitude with the maid to the next level. Thus, when the child returned from school, he ordered her to remove her panties that he allegedly wanted to penetrate. She refused and he decided to take her by force, but she struggled with him. She screamed, but nobody came to her rescue. Her madam as usual, was out of the country.
He then dragged her to a particular room and locked her up.
A concerned woman, who had been following the matter, said: “It has been discovered that he was also sexually molesting his two daughters and he’s their biological father! There’s a lady that used to take the two little girls to and fro school whenever there their mother was not around. The lady noticed that whenever she was bathing the three years old girl and washing her private part, she would be crying, ‘bombom daddy, bombom daddy,’ but nobody understood what she was trying to say.”
The woman further noted: “On that particular day he tried to penetrate the maid, the girl had been sent home by the school over failure to her school fees. The girl said that the violation was a constant thing. She said whenever she was bathing or sleeping, the man would come and insert his finger into her and then fondled her. When she resisted him from penetrating her on that day, he hit her and then locked her up.”
Members of the ACVPN, led by the co-founder of the organization, Mr. Ebenezer Omejalile, said they would make sure that Kelechi, whom they described as a pedophile, will be brought to book.
The detectives have also taken the children to hospital for a medical examination.
