THE National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA) said it has
arrested major drug peddlers and seized 692.341 kg of Indian hemp in
Kaduna State.
The state commandant of NDLEA, Mohammed Jibrin, stated this on Friday when he led other members of the agency on a courtesy visit to Governor Mukhtar Yero in Kaduna.
Jibrin said the drug barons, Kasim Aliyu, a major distributor near Ikara axis, was arrested with some guns; Haruna Yusuf operated around Zaria, while Nnaji Okafor, a Business Studies student at the Nuhu Bamali Poytechnic, Zaria, was arrested with over 40 bags of cannabis.
