Vampire’s most trusted medicine man arrested



Operatives of the Inspector-General of Police (IGP), Ibrahim Idris’s Special Intelligence Response Team (IRT), have arrested one of the most trusted medicine men of the late Henry Chibueze, aka Vampire.

It was gathered that the herbalist, Iweajuo Gad, 55, is from Asoeme Town in Aba, Abia South Local Government Area Abia State.
Police described Gad as the number one herbalist of Vampire and other gangs of armed robbers and kidnappers.
 A police source said: “One of Vampire’s gang members, who was already in police net, led operatives to the shrine were the herbalist was arrested. The herbalist confessed to have given several bullet repelling and disappearance charms to Vampire and his gang members. He further confessed that he led three herbalists to perform special rituals to enable Vampire's rescue from High Court Owerri, successful as names of seven Prisons Service Officers were brought to him by Vampire's brother to perfect the rituals that will disorganize and destabilize the officers during the rescue.  N200, 000 was given to them for the ritual. A week after the successful rescue, Vampire sent N500, 000 to him.”
The Force spokesman, Jimoh Moshood, a Chief Superintendent of Police, said that Vampire was killed in Omu Awa forest, at Ikwerre, Rivers State.
