Operatives of the Lagos State Police Command have arrested Mrs Blessing

move them to Anambra State.
It was learnt that Chukwunonso, the following day, took the two children
to Motor, where she planned to board an interstate bus to Onitsha, Anambra
State.
The Lagos State Police Public Relations Officer (PPRO), Bala Elkana, a
Deputy Superintendent of Police (DSP) said Chukwunonso was arrested on October

Nigerian about the abduction.
Elkana disclosed that detectives from Ojo Division, led by the
Divisional Police Officer (DPO), a Chief Superintendent of Police (CSP),
Abdullah Malah, arrested Chukwunonso along Alaba International Market with two
children, later identified as six-year-old Joshua James and three-year-old

During interrogation, she confessed to the police that the boys were
adopted by her husband, Chukwunoso
Happiness (40) from a motherless baby home in Jos, Plateau State and brought to
Lagos.
Elkana said: “She was taking them to Onitsha to meet her husband, but
the husband, who had also been arrested, confessed to have bought the children
for N140,000 from one Mama Oyoo in Jos Township. Efforts are been made to
identify the children’s parents, in order to reunite them. The command appeals
to motor park operators, Unions and well -meaning Nigerians to keep an eye on
passengers with children that appear in suspicious manner and alert the
police.”
