Twelve
persons were confirmed dead while twenty two others injured in Giri
Abaji-Lokoja road accident on Saturday.
The accident,
involving a truck and a luxury bus occurred in the early hours of Saturday.
The truck is
marked XA830KTG and a luxury marked, XC976NNE.
It was
gathered that the drivers of vehicles had embarked on a night journey with a
view to get to their destination on Saturday.
An official
of the Federal Road Safety Corp, who
confirmed the crash, advice motorists to avoid night journey as the roads, “are
more dangerous at night!,” he said.
