The Lagos
State Police Command has arrested two armed robbers at the Alakuko area of the
state.
One Marakov
pistol, with one live ammunition, a
short gun and five cartridges were allegedly recovered from them.
According to
police spokesperson, Ngozi Braide, the bandits were arrested on October 1, 2012,
after policemen from Alakuko Police
Station, responded to a distress call.
The call
came from house 46, Adeneken Street, Alakuko. It was there that anti-robbery team
arrested the two robbers.
Braide said:
“The robbers have been identified as Chinedu
Sunday Okoro and Samuel Kito. One marakov pistol with one live ammunition and a
shot gun with five cartridges were recovered from the robbers. The case is
under investigation at State Criminal Investigations Department(SCID), Panti
Yaba.”
