Commercial motorbike riders in Lagos State, popularly known as Okada riders, have gone haywire this morning.
Protesting police harassment and Lagos State government almost ban of their operations in the state,(limiting them certain areas in the metropolis), the men embarked on a protest yesterday.
This morning however, the protest is beginning to turn ugly as the Okada riders attack people, vehicles and property.
Eye witnesses said that from Anthony to Fadeyi areas are presently unsafe as the motorbike riders are vandalising vehicles all the way from the aforementioned routes to Mushin.
It is also heard that the Lagos State Police Command is gathering its men together to confront this snowballing protest.
