The Ogun State Police Command was plunged into mourning this morning, following the killing of five of its men by daredevil robbers.
Sources claimed that three of the policemen were attached to the Rapid Response Squad Unit in the state, while two were attached to police stations.
The three policemen were said to have been killed during a gun duel by the robbers, who were apparently returning from a robbery operation.
Another source claimed that the five men were killed while the bandits were fleeing after a robbery operation.
