The chairman of Capital Oil, Mr. Ifeanyi Uba has been arrested by
detectives from the Special Fraud Unit, Milverton, Ikoyi Lagos State,
over fuel subsidy scam.
Uba, who will be expected to vie for governorship position in Anambra State comes 2014, was arrested today in Lagos.
He is being quizzed over subsidy scam running to N22.4 billion.

spokesman, Ngozi Isintume, who confirmed his arrest, added: "He is
already being interrogated by our detectives and making a statement. I
can't say for now, if he would be given bail today."
