Three student were killed while eight others sustained
injury during an early morning protest in Nassarawa State University.
The student who took to the street in Keffi local government
area today, to stage a peaceful protest over water scarcity in the school were
said to have been shot at by soldiers.
It was gathered that immediately the student took to the
street, the state Governor called on soldiers in the state to help restore
sanity on campus.
Sources however stated that immediately the soldiers got to
the spot of the protest, they opened fire on the students.
The school has however been shut down till further notice.
