Killers of Bola Ige committed double murder - Cleric

CLERIC, Venerable Godwin Daramola, has said that those who were involved in the killing of the late Chief Bola Ige committed double murder.
Daramola made this known at the 10th memorial service in honour of the late Justice Atinuke Ige in Ibadan, on Wednesday.
The cleric, who lamented the spate of killings in the country, noted that living in the country had become dangerous. He said corruption had become a major threat to the country’s development, which had eaten deep into the fabrics of the country and, therefore, not a surprise that investigation into the death of the late Bola Ige remained a puzzle.
Speaking about Justice Ige, the cleric said she was indeed an embodiment of wisdom and reputation, which would live forever.
Mr Rauf Aregbesola, Osun State governor, described her as an honest judge, diligent, courageous, a good wife and a patriotic citizen. Accompanied by his deputy, Mrs Titi Laoye- Tomori, he said she led an exemplary life that other women could emulate.
Other dignitaries at the event included the Speaker of the Oyo State House of Assembly,  Monsurat Sunmonu; Chief Rotimi Akeredolu; Mrs Folake Solanke; Commissioner for Health, Osun State, Dr Muyiwa Gbadegesin; Commissioner for Home Affairs, Osun State, among others.
