A 30-year-old gay suspect was, on Wednesday, arraigned before a Port
Harcourt Magistrate Court by the Rivers police command for allegedly
having sex with 7-year-old twin brothers.
The suspect, Godface Ibama, was arrested by the police at a
waterfront in Mile One, Diobu area of Port-harcourt, for having canal
knowledge of the boys through their anus.
He is facing a two-count charge of unlawful canal knowledge of the underaged children.
The suspect pleaded not guilty to the offence.
The presiding magistrate, Elkawah Fubara, ordered the suspect to be
detained in police custody and adjourned the case till September 11 to
hear his bail application.
