A 30 years old man, Yahaya Musa, has been arrested for allegedly sodomising a 12 years old boy in Miya village, Bauchi State
According to the Bauchi State Police Public Relations Officer (PPRO), a Superintendent of Police (SP), Ahmed Wakili, the suspect allegedly tricked his victim and then had anal sexual intercourse with him.
Wakili said: “On 20th March 2022, Abdullahi Kano of Unguwar Sarki Hausawa in Miya Village of Ganjuwa Local Government Area, reported at the Ganjuwa Police Divisional Headquarters that on the 19th March, 30 years old Yahaya Musa of the same address lured the 12 years old into his barbing saloon and forcibly twice had anal sexual intercourse with him. During interrogation, the suspect voluntarily confessed to the crime.”
Also, on the 18th March, a 70 years old man, Abdullahi Ahmadu, reported that on the 16th March, Musa Saleh, 20, deceived a lady and had unlawful carnal knowledge of her. During investigation, police discovered that the victim, to resist being raped, wrestled with the suspect, but the suspect overpowered her and succeeded in removing her skirt and also tore her clothes.
Wakil said: “During interrogation, the suspect voluntarily confessed to the commission of the crime. Investigation is ongoing, after which the suspect will be charged to court.”
