A
new Commissioner of Police, Mr. Samuel Damilola Adegbuyi, has resumed duty at
the Police Special Fraud Unit (PSFU), Ikoyi, Lagos.
Until
his new posting, he was Deputy Commissioner of Police (DCP),
in charge of the
State Criminal Investigation Department (SCID), Panti – Lagos.
Adegbuyi,
who was appointed into the force as a Cadet Assistant Superintendent of Police
(ASP) in 1984 hails from Odogbolu in Ogun State.
A
vastly experienced officer, he holds a Bachelor of Science Degree (Hons) in
Business Administration and M.A in Criminal Justice.
He
has held various appointments including DC, Zonal CID Zone 5, Benin, DC
Administration Zone 2, Onikan, Lagos, Area Commander Area C, Surulere, Lagos,
Area Commander Ilorin Metro, Kwara State and AC State CID Enugu State Police
Command. His hobbies are music, travelling and watching football. He is married
with children.
