They
married in front of family and a host of celebrity pals in Venice, Italy
on Saturday and now the first pictures from George Clooney and Amal
Alamuddin's wedding have been revealed.
The
stunning 36-year-old bride wore a custom-made off-the-shoulder Oscar de
la Renta French lace wedding dress with a veil while George, 53, chose
his favourite designer, Giorgio Armani, to create his tuxedo.
In pictures, which were sold exclusively to HELLO! and People for
charity, all of the secrets of the wedding are revealed including the
outfits, the cake and the famous guests and George told People that
'marriage feels pretty damn great'.

TMZ also claims the Gravity actor devised a cunning plan which enabled guests to take photos, which he could monitor. According to the website, guests were given a specially made camera and code.
All images that were taken on the approved cameras were routed to a database that George's people could access, therefore if any photos were then touted to the media, George would immediately be able to track down the perpetrator.

People reports those assembled broke
out into spontaneous applause when the couple - who were first linked
together in October 2013 - were declared man and wife during the 30
minute ceremony.

Monday as many of their guests left the city, George and Amal made a
trip to Venice City Hall where they made their union official with a
10-minute, €600 civil ceremony.Amal was stunning in a pair of cream wide-legged trousers and a hat, while her husband chose a dapper grey suit.
However, the main event took place on Saturday when George and Amal were married at approximately 8pm by his friend Walter Veltroni, the former mayor of Rome, in front of a sea of famous faces including Emily Blunt, Matt Damon, Anna Wintour and Billy Murray.

Ever the prankster, George kept the crowd entertained en route to his wedding, pulling a series of humorous expressions as he headed to meet his bride-to-be. But one thing he couldn't hide was his excitement, grinning from ear-to-ear as he made his way along the Grand Canal.
The actor was accompanied by his father Nick as he made the 15-minute journey from the Cipriani hotel to the exclusive Amal resort, where he was meeting his bride-to-be.

hours after getting hitched, her father Ramzi Alamuddin reportedly made
his feelings pretty clear on the subject at the wedding reception.
'Now it's time for grandchildren,' he announced during his speech, according to US Weekly.
Following
his father-in-law’s speech, messages from a few of George's pals,
including Dan Aykroyd and Sandra Bullock, who sadly couldn't make it to
his big day, were then read aloud, putting a smile on the actor’s face.

to the magazine, the wedding celebrations went on until the early hours

the final three years were said to be angst-filled.
