Embrace the romance of a lace gown like Amal Alamuddin

Finally we have seen the dress! THE dress!
Amal Alamuddin teased us all week end with her stunning selection of designer looks from Alexander McQueen, Dolce & Gabbana, Giambattista Valli and Stella McCartney but now we get to see the one we've been waiting for.
This most beautiful of brides wore bespoke Oscar de la Renta for her marriage to George Clooney and looked totally dreamy. This French lace gown was embroidered with diamante and pearls and featured a circular train, while the wide neckline scooped just off her shoulders. This is a timeless and elegant dress and will no doubt inspire a thousand copy cat looks next time wedding season comes around.
Whether you're getting married soon or not we can all take notes from Amal's impeccable style. Lace is a romantic option and whether on a bohemian maxi or a full on gown it'll never go out of fashion.
Take a look at our edit below. Coast and Temperley London provide the wedding-worthy looks or do a hippy take by Nightcap Clothing, Topshop and Asos. Either way, style with metallic high heel sandals and dream of a groom like George.

TMZ also claims the Gravity actor devised a cunning plan which enabled guests to take photos, which he could monitor. According to the website, guests were given a specially made camera and code.
All images that were taken on the approved cameras were routed to a database that George's people could access, therefore if any photos were then touted to the media, George would immediately be able to track down the perpetrator.
Clooney and British human rights barrister Amal wed in front of approximately 100 guests - including family friends and famous faces such as Matt Damon and his wife Luciana, Cindy Crawford and her husband, George's best man Rande Gerber, John Krasinski and Emily Blunt, Vogue's Anna Wintour and Bill Murray, at Italy's historic Aman Canal Grande Venice on Saturday.
People reports those assembled broke out into spontaneous applause when the couple - who were first linked together in October 2013 - were declared man and wife during the 30 minute ceremony.
Nora Sagal, the daughter of friends, sang Irving Berlin's Always, the same song George's parents Nick and NIna danced to at their wedding, while Cole Porter's Why Shouldn't I? was chosen for the first dance at the reception.
Both sets of parents are thrilled by the union with Amal's mother Baria Alamuddin opening up to People about the special day.

Just hours after getting hitched, her father Ramzi Alamuddin reportedly made his feelings pretty clear on the subject at the wedding reception.
'Now it's time for grandchildren,' he announced during his speech, according to US Weekly.
Following his father-in-law’s speech, messages from a few of George's pals, including Dan Aykroyd and Sandra Bullock, who sadly couldn't make it to his big day, were then read aloud, putting a smile on the actor’s face.

According to the magazine, the wedding celebrations went on until the early hours of Sunday morning, with some not retiring to their beds until 5am.
It will no doubt come as a surprise to some that George had the energy to party so hard as he'd had a late night the evening before celebrating his last hours as a single man.
The actor and a few of his closest pals were spotted dining out at one of his favourite eateries Da Ivo restaurant, where they feasted on a gourmet dinner of stuffed courgette flowers, pasta with truffles before tucking into figs, crab and lobster.

Talia had actually dated George for three years before Kelly, and got back together two years later before driving to Vegas in a Winnebago to tie the knot. But after three years the couple divorced amid reports of arguments about money.
Clooney admitted in a Vanity Fair interview: 'I probably – definitely – wasn't someone who should have been married at that point. I just don't feel like I gave Talia a fair shot.'
Talia went on to marry Mad Men star John Slatterly, while George's next girlfriend was actress Kimberly Russell.
