A suspect arrested for threatening his employers with death and
kidnap if they didn’t pay certain amount of money into his bank account,
said he did it to teach the couple a lesson.
The suspect, Sunday Eloco,
29, allegedly conspired with his friend, Dauda Timothy 29, to threaten
Mr. Kenneth and his wife into paying money to them.
Police have described the move as another form of blackmail, using
fear as a weapon. The suspects sent threatening messages to the couple,
vowing to kill or kidnap either of them, if they didn’t pay the money
demanded. The couple didn’t know that those threatening them were their
former driver and a security guard to their neighbour. Eloco is a former
driver to Kenneth.
Timothy, who assisted Eloco to carry out the threat, used to work as a
security guard to the Kenneth’s neighbour. According to Eloco, he
started threatening the couple via SMS, after he left their employment.
He said he vowed to teach them a lesson because Kenneth’s wife had the
effrontery to slap him.https://newtelegraphonline.com/threatened-kill-kidnap-employers/
