Like most youths his age, 20-year-old Fatai Salami, must have been
warned several times about sporting dreadful looking hairstyles by his
parents.
He must also have been cautioned about sporting tattoos on his
body. But just like some youths, he had ignored his parents warning,
viewing them as ‘old schools.’
Today, Salami is bitterly regretting his hairstyle, which he once saw
as trendy and fashionable. Salami was among some youngsters arrested
for robbery at the Ilupeju and Ajagbandi area of Lagos State. Those
presently in police custody, aside from Salami, are, Olayinka 17,
Rasheed 16, Idris and Segun.
The teenagers all denied being involved in robbery. But Idris said
that although he wasn’t a robber, he however used to pick peoples’
pockets. According to them, they were victims of circumstances and
mistaken identities. They said they were passing through areas where a
robbery had just taken place, when residents accused them of being the
robbers that attacked.https://newtelegraphonline.com/my-hairstyle-implicated-me-in-robbery/
