Twenty-seven-year-old Shola Farotimi knew he was in a big trouble
when Anti-Robbery Policemen, attached to Area J Police Command, Ajah,
Lagos State arrested him for being a cultist and having a gun.
Although
Farotimi, a barber, has told police that the gun didn’t belong to him,
he however admitted borrowing it because he needed to use it to instill
fear into the hearts of rival cult members.
According to him, after making use of the gun, he returned it to the
owner, identified as Sule. Since the arrest of Farotimi, police had been
hunting for Sule, but all efforts to catch him have failed. It was
gathered that anytime police concluded plans to swoop on him, he would
vanish from the community.
