Two weeks after their abduction, the 65-yearold guard, Kakaja Joseph,
and four farm workers at Igbodu at Epe area of Lagos State have
regained their freedom.
It was learnt that the victims returned to the community on Saturday
about 8p.m. through Isiwo Farm Settlement road barefooted. There was
wild jubilation in the community when the news of the release of the
victims filtered into town, as some of the residents trooped out dancing
and celebrating. But the victims had tales of traumatic experience to
tell about their stay in the kidnappers’ den.
A source close to the victims told our correspondent that they were
subjected to severe beating and psychological torture for the first
three days in captivity. The kidnappers blinded folded the victims and
also beat them day and night.https://newtelegraphonline.com/kidnappers-beat-epe-farmers-day-night-source/
