The Director-General of the National Agency for the Prohibition of Trafficking in Persons, Dame Julie Okah- Donli, yesterday, described any abuse on Internally Displaced Persons (IDP) and other less privileged  persons in the society as a crime that should not be swept under carpet, irrespective of the status of the offender and circumstances.

70-year-old woman, others jailed for human trafficking

A 70-year-old woman, Paulina John, has been sentenced to 12 months imprisonment for human trafficking.
John was sentenced by a Federal High Court sitting in Kaduna, Kaduna State, for human trafficking for sexual exploitation.
