The driver apparently may have been hoping to save cash by parking at night while the site was being refurbished, with a sign put up to say it was not in use.
But he ended up dangling the car over the edge of an eight foot drop when trying to make an exit up an unmarked ramp.
Not the best spot: A driver left his car in this
precarious position after trying to leave a car park by driving up an
unmarked ramp at night
Dangerous: The car was left with its front wheels dangling over the drop
They only discovered the truth when the car's owner, apparently too embarrassed to show his face, sent his wife Lin Ju to collect the vehicle.
A manager at the car park said: 'She told us that because the ramp wasn't marked he thought it was a staff exit.
'He ended up with his front wheels hanging off the edge.
'We had they last laugh though. He had to pay for three whole days parking and for the crane we had to use to get it down.'
Embarrassed: The owner of the car sent his wife to pick it up from the car park
