Over speeding kills one, injures nine

One person was killed and nine others injured in a ghastly auto crash along Bayara Village, few kilometers away from Dass Local Government Area of Bauchi State.
The accident which occurred around 3.15pm, involved a Triacetate construction vehicle marked XG241NSR, a Honda Accord vehicle marked AJ 779 TRN and a JINCHENG motor cycle.
The accident was said to have been caused by over speeding by the driver of the Honda Accord vehicle who was heading towards Dass Local Government.
An eye witness said:“The driver of the Honda Accord left his lane  in the process of overtaking and collided with the Triacetate Construction vehicle and a man on top of  a motorcycle died at the spot.”
Sector Commander of the Federal Road Safety Commission, Mr. Sunday Henry Olatunji said that a total of thirteen persons were involved in the accident, out of which one person was confirmed dead while nine others sustained injuries.
“The man riding the Jincheng motorcycle was not fortunate to survive the crash as he had a severe head injury that made him to bleed to death,” said Olatunji.
