Ex-prisoner held for robbery



An ex-prisoner, Chigioke Samson 23, may soon be on his way back to prison.
The suspect was said to have been arrested around Governor’s Road, Ikotun. He was arrested a few weeks after leaving prison, where he was remanded on robbery allegations.

‘I stole company’s car because of my sick mother’




The Lagos State Police Command has arrested a 32-year-old driver for allegedly stealing his company’s car.
The suspect, Ibrahim Hassan, confessed to have stolen the car because his company refused to grant his request for a loan. He explained that the loan was to enable him take care of his sick mother’s medical bill.

The name, Soboma George wouldn’t be forgotten in a hurry by many Nigerians, especially citizens of Rivers State.
He was murdered in August 2010. He was a militant in both the Movement for the Emancipation of the Niger Delta and The Outlaws.
