The Lagos State Police Command has
arraigned one Paul Vincent, a resident of MOPOL 20 Barracks, Ikeja,
before an Ikeja Magistrate Court for allegedly stealing N150,000.
The 25-years-old was also arraigned for stealing a motorcycle worth about N70,000.
Vincent was said to have stolen the belongings of one Stephen Ngwelle.
The charge read, “That you Paul Vincent
of Block 2, flat 21, MOPOL 20 Barracks, Ikeja on May 18th, 2013, in the
Ikeja Magisterial District did steal the sum of One Hundred and fifty
thousand Naira (150,000) property of one Stephen Ngwelle, and thereby
committed an offence punishable under section 285 of the criminal laws
No 11 Vol. 44 law of Lagos State of Nigeria, 2011.
“That you Paul Vincent, and one other at
large on the same date, time and place in the aforementioned
Magisterial District on the 17th day of July, 2013, did conspire within
yourselves to steal one motorcycle, red in colour with Reg. No QU 109
BDG, valued at N70,000, property of one Stephen Ngwelle and committed an
offence punishable under Section 409 of the Criminal Laws, No 11
Vol.44, of Lagos State of Nigeria 2011.”
The case was adjourned till August 19th, 2013.
