Robbers kidnap housewife, after robbing hubby



Policemen attached to the Area N command, Ijede, Lagos State, have rescued a woman who was abducted by armed robbers.
The woman, Bosede Adisa, was said to have been abducted after the armed robbers, robbed and dispossessed her husband of his jeep.
Policemen were however able to rescue Bosede and even arrested one of the bandits identified as Dayo Olarewaju.
It was gathered that the policemen had appeared out of nowhere and given the robbers a hot chase.
After the dust settled, the policemen explained that they received an anonymous phone call from someone, who told them that a robbery was taking place.
Police spokesperson, Ngozi Braide said: “ Policemen attached to Area N’ Command Headquarters, Ijede responded to a distress call and trailed and arrested one Dayo Olarewaju of no fixed address. They also rescued one Bosede Adisa at Ewu-Elepe Town Ikorodu.
“The suspect, with others at large, disposed Adisa Stephen  of his Mitsubishi Montero Jeep with registration number AKD 457 AZ, at gun point at Lucky Fibre Ikorodu and drove away with his wife Bosede Adisa.
“The victim and the suspect are receiving medical attention at a hospital within Ijede while effort is on to arrest the fleeing members of the gang. The case is under investigation at State Criminal Investigation Department Yaba.”
