Two secondary students charged to court for raping female colleague



Two suspected rapists, Adeoti Olalekan and Musa Awolu, who are said to be secondary school students have been charged to court for allegedly, raping a female colleague.
The female student (names withheld), from Ilode area of Ile-Ife, Osun State, reported on Monday, December 10 that at about 3p.m., her school mate, Olalekan, collected her school sandal and ran into one building.
 On entering the building in order to collect her sandal, the girl alleged that she was forced into a room and gang-raped by Olalekan, Musa Awolu and AK (real name unknown), who is at large.
Sunday Tribune gathered that after the police visited the scene, the victim was taken to Obafemi Awolowo University Teaching Hospital, Ile-Ife, for medical examination.
At the magistrates court in Ile-Ife, the suspects were charged with conspiracy and rape.
The magistrate granted the accused bail while the case was adjourned till another date.
The police Public Relations Officer in Osun State, Mrs Folasade Odoro, however, said that efforts were on to apprehend the fleeing suspect.
