model ex of British millionaire who ‘murdered him in Spanish villa with shotgun after lying in wait in his bed’ is caught 2,000 miles away in her home town in Slovakia

The family of millionaire jeweller Andrew Bush have said they are 'over the moon' after police revealed they have caught his ex-girlfriend Mayka Marica Kukucova.
Speaking on behalf of the family, his ex-wife Sam Mason, 45, said: 'They've got her.
'The whole family is absolutely over the moon with the news she has been caught.
'The girls, my daughter and his sister-in-law, can now sleep easy and concentrate on the important thing which is mourning.'

Kukucova was arrested this afternoon after giving herself up to police in her home town of Nova Bosaca in Slovakia.
The town is 1,928 miles from the crime scene in Estepona, Spain, and Kukucova will have had to drive through at least five countries in order to get there.
Maria Korotaeva, 20, Mr Bush's most recent girlfriend said: 'They have caught her. We could not be more happy.
'The information about it is still with the police. They have not told us anymore. They only caught her two hours ago.'

'I am so happy. I knew that uneducated, psycho, Slovakian model could not hide for too long without a passport or money.
'She had nowhere to go. I talked to the person who actually has her case and I told her she has done a massively good job - they have been working 24 hours a day.'
A Spanish National Police spokeswoman said: 'I can confirm that Mayka Marica Kukucova was arrested early this afternoon in Slovakia after Spanish authorities requested a European arrest warrant.
'She is the ex-partner of Andrew Bush and has been arrested on suspicion of a consumed intentional homicide.
'Arrangements for her extradition to Spain are still to be finalised.'

Earlier today she accused 'madly jealous' Kukukova of killing him.
Miss Korotaeva was with Mr Bush in the moments before he was shot dead at his rented villa in Spain's Costal del Sol on Saturday.
She claims she walked into the property with Mr Bush to find ex Mayka Kukucova waiting in her pyjamas. Miss Korotaeva says she went back outside before hearing three shots.
She said: 'She [Kukucova] done it. I can't change that. God will be her judge.
'Maybe she thought she had her reasons, maybe she was frustrated that he was with me and happy and she wasn't. I don't know. I don't understand.
'Perhaps madly jealous. I personally think it almost for her was he would be with her or no one.'
Miss Korotaeva said Mr Bush had split up with Slovakian model Miss Kukucova 'a long time ago' but she continued to live in his house in Bristol until October.

She said: 'She was living with him and he couldn't get her out of the house. She was refusing to move out. They had a bad relationship, put it that way.
'He said that he was trying to change her for better and he realised that it wasn't working and then she moved out.
'I never saw her in my life but I knew that she was his ex-partner and they finished.
'I knew his family disliked her. She created a lot of drama and pain in the family. They said she was a snake.
'I'm not entirely sure [why it ended] but she had been causing him a lot of unhappiness.
'She wasn't satisfied with anything. She never really had anything in her life as it was.
'They [Mr Bush's family] have questioned if she was looking for love or materialistic things - his family told me that. She didn't come from very fortunate circumstances.
'But I don't want to say anything angry about her because I didn't know her myself.'

Miss Korotaeva had been visiting the villa with Mr Bush to celebrate their five-month anniversary when he was shot in the head.
She could not get past the intricate security system but then watched as Kukucova came out of the house with a 'crazy cold' look on her face.
She added: 'She was cold. She was in no rush. She was looking like she was just getting her stuff and getting away because he had asked her to.
'She didn't look like she had killed him. [Her face] was crazy cold. She talked to me normally.'
Miss Korotaeva had to wait two hours for firemen to come to the house and break down the door before discovering Mr Bush lying in a pool of blood.
Speaking of Mr Bush's feelings towards Kukucova she said: 'He hated her with a passion.
'He couldn't hear her name,' she added. 'I don't know but I have been told by his family she tried to ruin everything.
'She was like a poisonous snake in his house. She was not nice to anyone.'

She paid tribute to her 'amazing' boyfriend who 'always tried to see the positive'.
She said: 'Every single person who knew him would say he was amazing. He made every single situation turn to happiness. He changed my life for the better.'
Miss Korotaeva, who met Mr Bush in Costa Coffee in Bristol, is now being comforted in Spain by Mr Bush's family, including ex-wife Samantha, his daughter Ellie Mason Bush, 19, and sister Rachel.
She said: 'Obviously I am glad I am not dead but I feel like a train has been running up and down my body ripping me to bits.
'There's no way of putting into words how you feel when somebody you love is killed right there in front of you.
'I feel dreadful right now. We had so many plans for the future and now there's nothing.'

Maria is tortured by the fact that her car-loving businessman wanted to turn back on his way to the airport because he had forgotten the keys to his villa, but she persuaded him to catch the flight and pick up a spare set in Spain.
On Instagram, she wrote: 'I wish I'd never said it, I wish, we'd missed the flight. I will always love you. You will be always in my heart. The best man in the world.
'I wish I could of saved you that night. R.I.P Andy. Your girlfriend'.
Mis Korotaeva said they planned to make a life together once she finished her final exams at UWE.
'We met in Costa Coffee in Bristol,' she said. 'He looked at me and I looked back and we looked for longer than we should have.
'We just met each other's gaze. It was destiny. Sometimes you just meet one person on one day and that's it. Everything went crazy very quickly.
'We loved each other so much and went to Paris on Valentine's Day for a love break.
'After my exams we were planning to go to London together. I was going to study for a second degree and he wanted to expand his businesses.'

Miss Koroteva also took to Twitter today to praise Mr Bush, saying he was her 'teacher' and 'the man who changed my life for better [sic].'
Posting pictures of the couple together, she added: 'I will always love you. You will always be in my heart. The man who changed my world for better.
'My teacher. I wish I could of saved you. RIP Andy Bush.'
Miss Kukucova could have been inside the villa for days, because a week before the couple arrived the Spanish owner let himself into the grounds and noticed the curtains were drawn, which he said was unusual.
