Pandemonium in Ibadan: 27 cars, 17 trucks vandalized as NURTW members clash

Hell was let loose Wednesday in Ibadan, the Oyo State capital when at least 27 cars and 17 trucks were vandalised by thugs suspected to be members of the National Union of Road Transport Works (NURTW), Oyo State branch.
The melee took place at the Express Quarry Nigeria Limited, Kilometre 15, Lagos-Ibadan Expressway, Ekefa Village in Ibadan.
Problem arose from the collection of N2,500 rate on each of the granite loaded, which the dealers said was too outrageous.
