Two young
children had their necks sliced open with a steak knife after being
attacked as they slept by a woman who was staying as a house guest, a
court has heard.

Jenkins, 28, allegedly went into the bedroom of a 16-month-old girl and
seven-year-old boy and began sawing at their throats.
She
is said to have later told doctors 'voices told me to do it' and claims
to have been 'legally insane' at the time because of drug use.
