My son’s killers will have no peace, father curses

  • Son beaten, tied and dumped in river
Residents of Uburu Community, in Ohaozara Local Government Area of Ebonyi State, have seen many things in life, but seeing a 70-year-old man, weeping broken heartedly, is a sight many of them do not wish to see again.

The old man, Abaa Umahi, has been crying for days since he received the shattering news of the murder of his 30-year-old son, Joe.
Abaa said he was crying, not just because his son died before him, but also over the horrifying manner Joe was killed. According to him, Joe was grabbed by local vigilante men for allegedly stealing a motorbike and beaten to stupor.
He said his son’s killers couldn’t even substantiate the allegation. It was gathered that someone saw Joe with a motorbike that has been missing and without bothering to ask him, where he got it, he alerted vigilante men. After beating Joe, the vigilante men tied his hands and legs with rope. They tied the ropes to bags of sand and dropped him into Isu Achara River. He sank like lead. The deceased has been described as the breadwinner of his family.https://newtelegraphonline.com/sons-killers-will-no-peace-father-curses/
