Ambrose Ali varsity prof, senior lecturers held for cultism

Police have arrested some lecturers at the Ambrose Ali University (AAU), Ekpoma, Edo State, for allegedly being members of secret cult groups and engaging in cult-related activities.

 The state Commissioner of Police, Mr. Haliru Gwandu, disclosed this yesterday while briefing journalists in Benin. He also said a cache of firearms was recovered from the arrested lecturers, following raids on their houses.
