The
incident, according to the Police Public Relations Officer, Abimbola
Oyeyemi, happened at Ewooluwo Sagamu in Sagamu Local Government Area of
the state.
Oyeyemi,
in a statement issued in Abeokuta yesterday, described the suspect as a
member of the “already disbanded” Merchant Navy.
He
said the Divisional Police Officer in charge of Sagamu, Moses Aduroja,
led his men to rescue the wife, after residents alerted the security
agents.
