KIDNAPPERS of Titilayo, wife of former military governor of the defunct Western state, , who was abducted on Monday have demanded N200 million ransom from the family.
Though the Oyo state police claimed yesterday evening that it was not aware of any ransom demanded by the abductors, its spokesman Ayodele Lanade (Deputy Superintendent of Police), stated that investigations were on going on the matter and that the Rotimis house at the GRA, Agodi was under watch by the police.
The kidnappers, who drove in a green Nissan Primera car had stormed the gate to Titilayo's company, 'AOK Logistics Limited' Alakia, Ibadan at about 6.30 pm on Monday and whisked her away.
A family source, who preferred anonymity, disclosed to journalists that the abductors had demanded for N200m as ransom before the abducted woman could be released.
The residence of Rotimis in Ibadan was ghostly yesterday as the gate to the place was shut. The security manning the gate had on Tuesday said that the former military administrator was out of the country.
