Kidnappers hang parents' phone number on kid, disappear

Gbadebo
The four-year-old boy, David Gbadebo who was abducted from First Baptist Church, in Shomolu area of Lagos, Sunday during church service, has been found.
Family friends said he was found in Ogun State.

Young  Gbadebo was said at the children session of the church when he suddenly went missing.
His frantic parents were later called by the abductors who demanded N700,000 ransom.

It was gathered that the parents were still frantically trying to raise the money when they received a call from
Policemen attached to Owode Egbado Police Station.

The couple was invited by the policemen to  Ogun State. The police caller however refused to divulge to them that their kid had been found. They reached the police station to find Gbadebo at the station.

Police told the parents how the  kidnappers abandoned Gbadebo around 1: am,  at Seme boarder Tuesday, with a tag which had his parents phone number scribbled on it around his neck.
It was gathered that no ransom was paid, but the reason the abductors abandoned the kid is yet unknown.
Mr. Gbadebo said : “Yes, we have found him and we give glory to God. The kidnappers dropped him off around Otta , where a Good Samaritan saw him and took him to Owode Egbado Police Station. We were contacted from the station. I cannot talk more than this because this place is noisy. I’m on my way to church. Please call back by 8pm.”
