Nurse drugs, rapes 19-year-old patient

For allegedly drugging and raping a 19-year-old girl, a 27-yearold male nurse, Olugbenga Isaac, was yesterday arraigned before an Ikeja Magistrates’ Court in Lagos. 

Isaac, a resident of Ajah area of Lagos, is being tried for rape. The prosecutor, Inspector Clifford Ogu, told the court that the accused committed the offence on September 15 at Onipanu, Lagos.
Ogu, according to the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN), said that the accused unlawfully had sexual intercourse with the 19-year-old girl. “The accused had sexual intercourse with a woman without her consent,” he said.
