Bloody christening: Drunken Inspector arrested after killing, injuring guests

A drunken police Inspector has been arrested by the Delta State Police Command for killing and injuring guests at a child dedication ceremony.
The Inspector, alleged to be drunk, was said to have opened fire on guests at a baby dedication ceremony on September, killing one of the guests and injuring another.
The guest that was killed has been identified as Mike, while injured one is Onome Eko aka Chairman.
The shooting occurred at the baby’s dedication reception, held at No. 15 Ejewor Street by Polokor Market area in Okumagba Layout, Warri Delta State.

The incident forced the Disc Jockey of the event to hurriedly pack his instruments and bolted from the venue on the fateful day. According to eye witnesses, Mike was shot on his chest, while Eko was shot in his left hand.
The Inspector was alleged to have shot sporadically into the air while the celebrant was being sprayed with naira notes by some guests.
